Ok... summary of what's been happening.

I officially feel old now.... so many friends have just just got married this year or are going to be soon. Its scary... Some pics from Tony & Amona's engagement party last month.

I have found a new job...yea... will be starting in september. Will be civil eng for atkins working on underground development project. Now, simon wont get all the blame for all the delays and crap service. Good thing is it will be in central so can meet up more with friends. So next week is my last week at current job then off to LA for 2 weeks..(cant wait)..then come back for new job. The timing is perfect.

Also been having bbqs almost every weekend. About to go to Ed's one soon. Yum Yum...

Took part in a Short Term Mission to Norwich on April 1st weekend . There's a Chinese fellowship there at the uni and we organised an outreach event. God really blessed us throughout the weekend. Our team bonded really well together despite coming from different congregations. I hardly knew any of them b4 i decided to take part. Also, a great chance to practice my mandarin since we were outreaching to Chinese strudents. Although not as many as thought turned up for the event i really felt that God planned for this to be an edifying experience for the fellowship and you team. Reminded me of when Paul the Apostle visited different churches in his ministry and supported them in their walk with Christ. So an altogether fulfilling mission trip.

Went to visit William in Newcastle. Was good to see him again after leaving Taiwan. He is settling in well there and we just hung out. Also met up with some people from the mission team that came to Taiwan, Frankie, Catherine and Tom. Ate dinner with 3 people from koahsiung, really brought back memories. Will definitely go back for a visit some time.

I know this is long overdue, just been so busy these days with church stuff and work. Anyway here are a few random photos of our fellowship retreat to Centre Parcs. Was great just to get to know ppl better from our fellowship and to share our lives and build each other up. Also played loads of sports, my kind of retreat. Might go there again with pat, tan, nic and the gang. Maybe when its warmer.

YEAH!!! I found a job...finally. The job's not exactly what I wanted but then again I really dont know what I want to do or rather what God wants me to do. Since i've come back, it seems like I've lost my sense of direction. Hopefully with a job i will have more motivation to do things. Trying to read more Christian books lately. John Piper a good place to start. Planning to go visit Jason, Jen etc in the States this summer and maybe go to Ray's wedding but needs some planning, the places i wanna visit are so far from each other, so annoying. But its something to look forward to at least. Arsenal lost again today... whats going on???

I miss Taiwan . I miss the food, the nice tennis weather, my scooter, 7-11, my kids (i dreamt about them the other night, its weird coz usually i dont remember my dreams), playing pool at 2am, using my very limited mandarin, thursday night bible study, night markets, fried rice we usually get at night market, and all the ppl of course, jason's craziness, jen's attempt at using proper english , hottie beth's embarrassing comments ...haha... i guess there's a lot more.... i will definitely return someday.

Since I've been back I have: ate loads (especially food from the restaurant, think i appreciate it a lot more now), slept loads (too much in fact), had a really cool time showing andy and esther around and going to yorkshire to visit debbie, been paintballing (i suck at it), started going to central dcg(care group) and met loads of really cool ppl, shared at church about taiwan, started teaching bible classes at chinese school (some of the kids are so funny and lippy), nearly finished reading narnia before the film comes out, moved into my own cosy room in the basement, filled in loads of applications but still no job yet, helped dad redecorate the house.

People I need to visit: em in cambridge, al in warwick, oxford to visit friends, newcastle to visit william, Tim in epsom. Hope i can get around to everyone.
